2008 Ford Super Duty F350 Review

Ford claims that their 2008 Ford Super Duty F350 Crew Cab FX4 does the best towing, whether it is hauling a project vehicle cross country or testing out new travel trailers. Four Wheeler magazine put the truck through a rigorous, over 10,000 miles review and named it their 2008 Pickup Truck of the Year.

Whether as a car hauler or travel trailer, the Super Duty excels at pulling things. The chassis of the truck is rock solid, the engine is quite powerful, and the cab interior is top notch. The Super Duty is so good at towing that according to Four Wheeler it is a nice truck empty and becomes a great truck pulling. The 6.4L is the epitome of reliability with a powerhouse of an engine and runs so much quieter than other Power Stroke engines that people have inquired about what engine is running.

The F350 that the magazine tested was very reliable. However, they did find fault with the truck’s performance when in regen mode. The throttle response also lags, there is strange intake and exhaust noises are heard and the truck seems to have a slight flutter. When not towing, the fuel economy starts to improve, but it is still short of what the 6.0L and 7.3L Power Stroke engines were capable of.

  1. New ATV says:

Will the quad work on vertical polarity ? The polarity is a function of where the driven element is fed. All of our quad designs may be either Horizontal or Vertically polarized which is determined at the time of assembly. ATV For Sale.
